The construction of this 20,600 SF Buddhist monastery represents a significant and unique accomplishment, as it is the first one built in Canada using a traditional Tibetan design.

The building's exterior combines brick and intricate millwork, while the interior features spectacular colours, paintings, ornate details, and religious artifact displays. A large dining hall with a commercial kitchen, offices, retail shops, and covered parking are located on the main level, while the Shrine Hall is located on the second level. The Shrine Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 500 people and contains a 30-foot tall gold-leafed Buddha that was completed in place by a group of Tibetan monks. Visitors and monks have access to dormitory-style rooms on various levels of the building.

Kindred also coordinated the installation of many precious religious artifacts, working with trades to exercise the utmost care when handling and installing the pieces. Throughout the entire project, Kindred remained respectful of the cultural and religious significance associated with each design detail and artifact, working closely with the monks to ensure the quality and finishes were as envisioned.
