Winner of the 2015 City of Vancouver Heritage Award, the Sylvia Hotel is a well-known Vancouver landmark. Kindred successfully completed work on the building envelope restoration, including the removal of seven layers of 80-year-old paint, without compromising the underlying brick on the eastern wall. The hotel remained fully open for business throughout the restoration process.
